The Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce is making it easy for members to go green! To support local businesses, the Chamber is offering a 6-week Green Business Training & Certification Program presented by Nevada Green Business Network and Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful. The first 25 businesses to RSVP to the Chamber will gain access to the GreenBiz online platform, learn how to implement green measures, receive technical assistance, and get certified as a Nevada Green Business! All that and lunch included!

Green businesses gain a marketing edge because more than 70% of customers surveyed want to buy from businesses that are helping to protect the environment, and many are willing to pay more for their products. Green business also have an advantage when it comes to recruiting and retaining talent. More than 80% of US workers polled believe that it is important to work for an organization that makes the environment a top priority.
