DESCRIPTION:greenUP! and Western Nevada College are hosting a Webinar Series that will cover 1) navigating the Safer Choice label to get more industrially relevant products and 2) replacing toxic products and minimizing impacts to human health and the environment. \nScientist Dr. Katy Wolf will talk about alternatives explored including soy-based cleaners\, hydrocarbon with no aromatic component\, acetone and acetone products\, and dry ice cleaning and stripping. Suppliers and formulators will join Katy in the presentations. \nThe Cleaner and Coating Applications Webinar covers concrete floor coating for commercial buildings that minimizes dust generation\, reducing lung disease in workers and community members. Low-VOC content\, low-toxicity cleaner available in aerosol and nonaerosol form (can be used by auto shops as brake cleaner or for general purpose cleaning and spray gun cleaning\, as well as surface preparation and repair & maintenance cleaning at industrial facilities).
