We work with small to medium-sized businesses to offer free assistance and recognize efforts that save energy and water\, reduce waste\, prevent pollution and stormwater impacts\, and encourage better commute options. We offer a checklist of best practices that businesses can implement\, and we certify businesses that meet minimum thresholds of environmental performance.

DESCRIPTION:Michelle Hamilton\, Nevada Co-Coordinator\, Citizens’ Climate Lobby will present at the next PSN Nevada Climate Forum Event. \nWhat are the prospects for national climate legislation in the 2025 US Congress? Can carbon pricing laws in other industrialized countries shine a light on what works? Carbon pricing places a cost on greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution to encourage substitution of dirty fossil energy with clean energy. Citizens’ Climate Lobby advocates for legislation in four key policy areas\, including a national carbon fee on fossil fuels at the point of extraction based on their carbon pollution\, while returning the revenue to households to protect low- and middle-income households.  This policy also addresses international competitiveness of imports and exports with a carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM).\n \n
