Green businesses show they care about the environment and the health and wellness of their employees, customers, and community by taking actions to conserve resources and prevent pollution in their facilities and business operations.

What types of businesses can participate?

Whether a restaurant or auto repair shop, professional service or manufacturer, school or hospitality company, we work with all types of businesses and organizations in Nevada. Businesses are provided with a checklist that is tailored to their sector.

How to donate on our site?

Visit our Donate page to help contribute to our efforts. We are just getting started, and with your help we can do so much more to help ensure a green and healthy Nevada for generations to come.

How does the green business program work?

The program utilizes GreenBizTracker, a software solution that makes it easy for businesses to register and get started, track efforts, and become certified.

How to became a volunteer?

Ambassadors help to raise awareness of our green business certification program by sharing information with local businesses and handing out brochures at community events.

How easy is it to get started?

Starting is easy. The first step is to Register and complete a business profile. Basic information is collected that tells us a little about the business. Once the registration is completed, a checklist will be generated based on the type of business. Visit our ``Get Started`` page for more information.

Is there help available to businesses?

We help businesses identify and implement green practices that make sense for their organization. Businesses receive technical assistance, information about utility incentive programs, recommendations on low- and no-cost actions, and access to valuable resources.
