In 2025, the Green Business Engagement National Network (GBENN) and Intuit, the maker of Quickbooks, partnered together to help small businesses reduce their energy usage, save money, and operate more sustainably by implementing energy efficiency upgrades. Nevada was one of four states that participated in this pilot program, and rebates (up to $1,000) were awarded to 20 small businesses!
Due to our success in 2025, Nevada has been selected for the 2026 National Green Business Grant Program! Applications are now open for our second round of energy rebates (see details below).

For additional information about Nevada program eligibility or questions regarding green business registration please contact Erica Gallegos at erica.gallegos@wnc.edu.
This rebate program has helped Nevada businesses reduce utility costs, upgrade current equipment, reduce energy use and emissions, and earn recognition for their environmental actions.
Through this grant program, the Nevada Green Business Network helped businesses save an estimated $7,265.51. In total, these projects will reduce over 62,641 annual kWh and 21.76 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year.
