The Green Business National Network (GBNN) and Intuit, the maker of Quickbooks, partnered together to help small businesses reduce their energy usage, save money, and operate more sustainably by implementing energy efficiency upgrades. Nevada was one of four states that participated in this pilot program in 2025, and rebates (up to $1,000) were awarded to 20 small businesses!
In 2026, Nevada was again selected for the National Green Business Grant Program, and rebates were awarded to 14 businesses.
This rebate program has helped Nevada businesses reduce utility costs, upgrade current equipment, reduce energy use and emissions, and earn recognition for their environmental actions.
Through this grant program, the Nevada Green Business Network has helped businesses save approximately $12,914.07 in annual energy costs. Combined, these projects will reduce over 110,058 annual kWh and 35.84 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year.
